Lauren Jones brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare and practice management to her role as founder of Wake Forest Driving Academy. As a long-time practice manager in a private plastic surgery practice, Lauren has built her career around organization, safety, compliance, education, and patient-centered care—skills that naturally translate into creating structured, high-quality programs for the community.
As a mother of two teenagers, Lauren experienced firsthand the challenges families face when navigating teen driver education. Recognizing a growing need for accessible, trustworthy, and comprehensive driver training in the Wake Forest area, she created Wake Forest Driving Academy to serve students and parents with the same level of care, professionalism, and accountability she has upheld throughout her healthcare career.
Lauren is deeply committed to community safety and believes that driver education goes beyond passing a test—it’s about building confidence, responsibility, and lifelong habits that protect families on the road. Her healthcare background reinforces a strong focus on prevention, risk awareness, and thoughtful decision-making, all of which are foundational principles of the academy.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her family and their two golden doodles. She loves traveling, relaxing by the pool, and creating meaningful memories with those closest to her. Lauren is proud to serve Wake Forest families and continues to lead Wake Forest Driving Academy with integrity, compassion, and a genuine passion for helping the next generation become safe, confident drivers.

Stacey Robinson is a local Realtor, dedicated mom, and proud ECU graduate with a lifelong passion for cars and driving. What began as a personal interest has grown into a meaningful role in driver education, where Stacey helps new drivers replace fear with confidence, trust, and responsibility behind the wheel. She believes that learning to drive is about more than mastering skills—it’s about developing awareness, good judgment, and respect for the road.

Scot brings over 13 years of experience to Wake Forest Driving Academy, where his passion for safe driving and enthusiasm for teaching shine through every lesson. With a background in firefighting, EMT work, and 911 dispatching — along with a CDL — Scot offers students a real-world, well-rounded approach to driver education that truly makes an impact.
But Mr. Scot’s dedication to others doesn’t stop at the classroom. He’s also an avid motorcycle rider who regularly participates in charity rides. His most recent ride supported breast cancer awareness, a cause close to his heart. Whether he’s leading by example on the road or riding for a greater purpose, Mr. Scot lives out the values he teaches: responsibility, awareness, and community.
When he’s not behind the wheel or on two wheels, you’ll find him playing pickleball or spending time with his family. Mr. Scot is known for his upbeat attitude and the positive energy he brings to every student interaction.
Despite his impressive resume, he jokes that he’s still figuring out what he wants to be when he grows up but we know he’s right where he belongs: helping the next generation of drivers stay safe and confident on the road.
